چکیده

Aframomum K.Schum is a genus native to Africa belonging Zingiberaceae. Members of the are aromatic and perennial rhizomatous herbs. Many plant parts species contain essential oils, including fruits, seeds, leaves, stems, rhizomes, pods, husks, pericarps, limbos leaf sheaths. The major constituents plants mainly composed sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, oxygenated monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes monoterpene hydrocarbons. present work provides comprehensive information regarding volatile components various species.
